Great Girl Gathering- Girl Scouts Take Over the MOA

March 10- 11th Girl Scouts will be taking over the Mall of America. They are having their Great Girl Gathering to celebrate 100 years of inspiring generations of girls who change the world. There will be Girl Scouts coming from all over the world to celebrate.

It is open and fee to the public from 10-6PM.

As a brownie myself, I cannot get through February without buying a box of thin mints. I would definitely get a cookie eating patch. The best thing about this event is that they are selling their cookies at the Girl Scout Store at N120.

They will be having performances in the Rotunda including China Anne McClain. You can head on over to Macy’s Court for for a camping experience or to Sears Court for Yoga or Dance. Check the website for more information on the schedule.

Because changing the world matters.

Concussion Discussion- Free Baseline Screenings

This Thursday-Saturday Health Fair 11 is offering free baseline concussion screenings for anyone ages 10-69 at the Science Museum from 10-4pm on a first-come-first-served basis.

It takes about 30-40 minutes to complete and you need to fill out a form that can be found on Kare11 and requires consent from an adult for anyone under the age of 18. Screenings will take place in the Science Museums computer education center and you will not need admission into the science museum to participate.

It is on the eve of many of the MSHSL tournaments and continues to bring awareness to the danger that concussions can bring.
